Terms & Conditions for PourFect!

By downloading or using PourFect! (the "App"), these terms automatically apply to you, so please read them before playing. PourFect! is a free, ad-supported, single-player puzzle game published by Artivy. There is also a browser version on this site, and where these terms say something different about it, they say so.

1. Intellectual Property

Artivy owns PourFect!, including its code, artwork, level generator and name. You may play it as much as you like. You may not sell it, republish it, or present it as your own.

2. Usage Restrictions

Please do not:

copy, modify or redistribute the App, or create derivative versions of it;
extract the source code, or attempt to translate it into another language or platform;
use automated tools to play, or to interfere with the adverts the game shows.

3. Updates and Changes

PourFect! is updated from time to time, and a future version may change or remove features. The level generator is one of them: levels are produced from their number rather than stored, so a change to the generator can renumber the boards you have already seen. Your level number is kept, but the board behind it may not be identical after an update.

4. Advertising and Third-Party Services

The App is free and paid for by advertising. It shows:

a banner on the Settings screen, and nowhere else — never beside the bottles;
a full-screen advert when you leave a level you have finished, at most once every two levels and never within ninety seconds of the last one;
rewarded adverts, which are always optional and always announced first. Taking back a move costs one, and unlocking the extra bottle costs two. A dialog tells you what the advert buys before it plays, and declining costs nothing.

The first five levels show no adverts at all. Adverts come from Google AdMob, and the browser version uses Google AdSense instead — one plain display banner, with no rewarded or full-screen adverts of any kind, which is why undo and the extra bottle are free there.

5. No Purchases, No Virtual Currency

There is nothing to buy. PourFect! has no in-app purchases, no coins, no store and no subscription. The extra bottle is earned by watching adverts or not at all; there is no way to pay for it with money.

6. Levels and Progress

Progress is the number of the level you have reached, plus the board you are part-way through, kept on your own device. Every level is generated so that it can be finished — the game checks each board with its own solver before handing it to you — and the extra bottle only ever adds room, so it cannot make a board unwinnable.

A board can still be played into a state that cannot be finished. When the game can prove that has happened, it tells you and offers a fresh board. Taking back moves is what avoids it, and on the first five levels that costs nothing.

7. Limitation of Liability

PourFect! is provided as it is. Artivy is not liable for any loss arising from using it, including lost progress after reinstalling, clearing app data, or clearing your browser's storage.

8. Changes to This Document

These terms may be updated as the App changes. The effective date above is when the current version took effect.
